The year 2022 has been such a wild one that January feels like it was three years ago, rather than six months.
However, it was back at this year’s Royal Rumble that we finally got the dream match up between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, which saw Lashley defeat Lesnar to become a two-time champion.
Lashley then defended the title inside the Elimination Chamber, but was taken out of the match without being pinned due to an injury. Lesnar went on to F5 Theory off the pod to win the title.
Lashley recently spoke to Lucha Libre Online, where he discussed his feud with Lesnar.
He simply said:
“We didn’t get it all. We got a little teaser. I think there’s some unfinished business. Brock has been consistent like this for the last 20 years.”
Lashley also recently spoke about how he is hoping to have a match with Intercontinental Champion Gunther at Survivor Series.
