Top AEW Star Arrived Minutes Before Their Match At August 19 Show AEW

A pair of top AEW stars underwent a truly insane amount of travel in one night on August 19 prior to an appearance at a recent AEW triple taping of Collision, Rampage and ROH TV.

Due to AEW travelling to London, England for August 27’s All In pay-per-view several changes have been made to the company’s taping schedule.

One of which was AEW choosing to tape the August 25 edition of Rampage in addition to the ROH TV taping and live broadcast of AEW Collision on August 19.

In total the three shows equated to five hours of AEW action for the live crowd in Lexington, Kentucky, however, when Collision began on hour one of the show, the eventual main eventer of hour five wasn’t even in the same state.

Per Fightful Select, Britt Baker began her night on August 19 in Birmingham, Alabama where her partner Adam Cole was receiving a Human Highlight Award Person of the Year award at Kulture City’s Kulture Ball.

After Cole had received his award, both he and Baker reportedly flew privately to Lexington, Kentucky to make the tail-end of the triple-taping, which was set to close with the Rampage main event between Baker and Hikaru Shida against The Outcast’s Saraya and Toni Storm in tag action.

According to Fightful’s report, both Baker and Cole amazingly arrived just minutes before Baker was set to compete.

Following the conclusion of the match Cole made a special appearance to close the five hour taping and send the crowd home happy.

With Baker and Cole set for marquee matches at All In on August 27, a new report has casted particular doubt over the health status of the former AEW Women’s Champion ahead of the historic event, which you can read at this link.
