AEW Star Says Brock Lesnar Is Vince McMahon’s ‘Wet Dream’

AEW Star Says Brock Lesnar Is Vince McMahon’s ‘Wet Dream’ AEW, WWE

AEW star Matt Hardy has identified a current top WWE star as his former boss Vince McMahon’s “wet dream”.

With the Executive Chairman of WWE notoriously preferring his stars to look a certain way, Hardy singled out Brock Lesnar as McMahon’s ultimate fantasy come to life in terms of a face of the company.

Speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy spoke of why Lesnar ticked all boxes for Vince from the get go in WWE, saying:

“You look at Brock. That is Vince’s wet dream. That is what Vince wants.

“(Brock’s) a big ass guy who’s just as tough as hell… someone who isn’t complicated, someone who is very easygoing to work with, especially at that stage of his career, right when he was starting.”

Lesnar entered the WWE fold immediately following WrestleMania X8 in March 2002 and quickly rose the ranks quicker than almost anyone in history, becoming the youngest WWE Champion of all-time at SummerSlam in August that same year.

The Hardy Boyz were Lesnar’s first rivalries in the company with The Beast’s first opponent ever on pay-per-view being Matt’s brother Jeff at Backlash 2002.

Matt revealed why Lesnar was so special and a clear favorite of Vince for so long, saying:

“When he walks in a crowd Brock Lesnar looks like something f**king special. He really does.

“He stands out as a very special human being, and on top of that he was a special athlete, so he was Vince’s wet dream, no doubt.”

Despite departing WWE at his peak in early 2004, Lesnar returned in 2012 and has enjoyed 11 further years in the company, becoming one of the most successful stars of all-time.

Question marks surrounding Lesnar’s WWE future after losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam have seemingly been answered – click here to read more.
