Chris Jericho has addressed his wrestling future amid rumours of his AEW contract expiring and potential WWE return.
Chris Jericho’s contract with AEW is reportedly set to expire at the end of this month, with it looking increasingly more likely that his time with the company may be wrapping up.
Jericho has not appeared on AEW television since May, and those within WWE are reportedly expecting Jericho to return in 2026, with the company having pitched a retirement storyline for Y2J.
Amid ongoing speculation on his future, Jericho spoke to WBSM about his upcoming tour with his KISS tribute act Kuarantine, where he was asked about his wrestling future.
Jericho confirmed that he is not done wrestling, and that we will likely see him in a ring somewhere in 2026.
He said:
“Well you never know man. That’s the thing, I’m not done yet so, still figuring out everything and we’ll see where I end up but I’m pretty sure you’ll see me in 2026 in a wrestling ring somewhere.”
