You can say many things about the WWE, but at least it isn’t petty. Oh wait, no, let’s add that back onto the list of things you can say about WWE.
Chris Jericho’s relationship with the company has been a bit of a weird one in the last year and a half. From appearing in one of their main storylines with Kevin Owens, to shocking the world by challenging Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 13, to signing for AEW, WWE must be wondering where it all went wrong.
If you’ve watched a WWE show, you’ll know that at the beginning of the show, there’s an opening credits sequence featuring a whole host of stars from past and present.
One of those stars is Chris Jericho…or should I say, WAS Chris Jericho, because shortly after he announced he was signing with AEW, he was removed. Instead of a picture of him, it’s a picture of Cesaro.

A very classy move from an always classy company.
And they didn’t stop there. Jericho’s profile was also removed from the main roster pages on WWE.com to the alumni page, which is a bit like unfollowing your ex on Instagram.
No word on how Jericho has taken this emotional blow.
