Clarification has now emerged regarding rumors going around about a big stipulation attached to a match on tonight’s June 21 AEW Dynamite.
Jeff Jarrett and Mark Briscoe are set for a Concession Stand Brawl tonight, and AEW released a promo video for the match on social media.
During that video, Jarrett said a line that was misinterpreted by many as him saying he’d never appear on AEW TV again if he didn’t pin Briscoe, even though that was never actually made official.
Enough people spread it that it picked up steam but PWInsider has now clarified that it isn’t the plan, nor was it ever the plan, for Jarrett to leave AEW TV if he doesn’t win the match.
AEW has now taken the video down to avoid any confusion, and replaced it with one with that particular line taken out of it.
PWInsider added that it was a possibility that Jarrett did several promos and the incorrect one was used.
Whatever the case, if Jeff Jarrett loses tonight, the plan is NOT to take him off AEW TV.
