AEW
AEW has announced the card for this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, featuring an AEW World Championship Tournament match, and a ROH World Championship match.
To open up tonight’s show, Tony Khan announced that both the AEW World Championship and the AEW Trios Championship had been vacated, before announcing that a ‘tournament of champions’ would take place to crown the new champion at AEW Grand Slam.
The first match of the tournament took place on tonight’s Dynamite, which saw Bryan Danielson defeat Hangman Adam Page.
The next tournament match between Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin is set for this Friday’s episode of Rampage.
Alongside that match, a huge ROH World Championship match between Claudio Castagnoli and Dax Harwood has been announced for Rampage, as well as Serena Deeb taking on Madison Rayne.
Finally, we are set to hear from ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe following his return at All Out.
