CM Punk Explains How He Got Locked Inside WWE HQ Overnight

CM Punk has shared a first hand account of his recent adventure of getting locked inside WWE HQ after featuring on the WWE Backlash pre-show.

Sharing the details behind his adventures inside WWE HQ on Saturday, May 4, CM Punk described his awe at the high tech headquarters.

Noting that the doors utilized entry through a key fob system, he did get locked inside of a bathroom to kick off the caper after stepping in to change after his Backlash pre-show appearance.

After managing to escape the bathroom, Punk said he noticed that Backlash was on so he hung out and watched it after discovering the epic WWE gym.

Since he had missed his flight being trapped, he said he just went ahead and stayed the night in WWE HQ, sleeping on a couch.

CM Punk was impressed by the hospitality of the WWE HQ, noting there were fridges with food that he was able to access although needed to be careful not to get trapped again in an area without a key fob.

CM Punk would eventually escape WWE HQ and then head to WWE Raw in Hartford, Connecticut where he arrived in a vintage car and threatened to hold the show hostage unless Drew McIntyre returned.
