We are now less than a week away from the AEW Rampage show in Chicago on August 20, which is heavily speculated to feature the AEW debut of one Phil Brooks.
The official promo video for AEW Rampage that aired during last night’s (August 13) debut episode of the show began with Darby Allin asking for the Best In The World. Very subtle.
Punk himself appeared to subtly nod towards Darby in an Instagram post on his story earlier today, where he looked back on a Ring of Honor show he was a part of.
Punk posted a caption on the photo and signed off with the phrase ‘Nothing’s over till you’re underground’. Eagle-eyed wrestling fans have realised that this is the phrase that Daby has tattooed on his chest.

All the pieces appear to be falling into place. AEW president Tony Khan has gone on record to say that AEW fans ‘know exactly what to expect’ from the show next week.
