There has been a major update on CM Punk’s inclusion in the WWE 2K24 video game release.
Shortly before the game hit store shelves back in March, it was announced that CM Punk would be joining the roster for WWE 2K24 as downloadable content (DLC), as a part of the ECW Punk Pack alongside several legends from the legendary Philidelphia-based promotion.
It was confirmed earlier this week by WWE Games on Twitter that the ECW Punk pack would be available to purchase on May 15, however now, courtesy of a new post we now also have our very first look at CM Punk’s in-game character model (see below).
As seen in the image below, Punk has his updated WWE attire, complete with a current t-shirt design.
It was also confirmed that Punk will have an overall rating of 90 in WWE 2K24.
WWE 2K24 marks the first time Punk has featured in a WWE video game since WWE 2K15 released back in late 2014.
Despite his absence from WWE games, he was featured in AEW Fight Forever – released in June 2023, where he was at one point featured on the front cover – however, this was changed before the final release.
Also included in the ECW Punk pack is Terry Funk, The Dudley Boyz and The Sandman.
It’s important to note that those who purchased the Deluxe and 40 Years of WrestleMania editions of the game will be able to download the ECW Punk Pack as a part of the season pass included with those versions.
