Some contract news has already emerged regarding CM Punk following his return at WWE at Survivor Series 2023.
CM Punk appeared after the men’s WarGames match last night to celebrate with the fans before the show went off the air.
The return itself hadn’t leaked to news outlets beforehand and was a genuine surprise.
Since his return, some details have emerged about how the deal came together, including his contract.
Both PWInsider and Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio have reported that Punk has signed a multi-year deal with WWE.
PWInsider specifically reported the deal is “several years in length”.
There’s nothing more specific than that on the length at the moment.
PWInsider also noted that it’s unknown at the moment whether Punk will be working full-time, but did confirm he will be wrestling.
Drew McIntyre reportedly “stormed out” of Survivor Series after the men’s WarGames match, but it’s unknown if that was related to Punk or not.
Videos have also circulated online of Seth Rollins shouting at ringside while Punk was on the stage, but again, there are questions marks there over whether he was just working to build a storyline with Punk.
We’ll keep you posted with further updates all throughout the day.
