New WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has reflected on the build to WWE WrestleMania 40 and his feud with The Bloodline.
At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to finally finish his story and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Cody’s win marked the end of Roman’s 1316 day reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and finally saw Rhodes overcome The Bloodline stable.
With WrestleMania 40 in the rearview mirror, “The American Nightmare” can now laugh and have fun with The Bloodline and their fans on social media.
On April 14, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter/X to retweet a fan-made video of a generated version of himself coming out on stage for a concert made by Twitter user @YOUNGBLACK_MAN. With a laughing emoji reaction to the video, Cody wrote:
The build to Mania’ was such an intense ride and the bloodline stans challenged me. I met that challenge – so in my own way I got love for them
Cody Rhodes is set to defend the WWE Championship on a future date against the winner of LA Knight vs. AJ Styles on the April 19 edition of SmackDown.
