Current NXT Champion Pulled From Show Due To Injury

A current WWE NXT Champion has pulled himself from a PROGRESS show today due to an elbow injury.

NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin was scheduled to team with Scotty Davis at PROGRESS CHAPTER 103, and was replaced by Eddie Kingston.

He tweeted:

Sorry to the @ThisIs_Progress fans and mgmt for missing #Chapter103 today. V.strenuous schedule lately and picked up a bit of elbow bursitis. It’ll be fine in a week or so, I just didn’t want to risk infection or aggravating it and prolonging my time out. See you guys soon.

Since winning the title, Devlin has been performing for NXT UK, NXT and 205 Live, most recently retaining the title over Lio Rush this past Wednesday.

He won the title on the January 25 Worlds Collide show in a four-way that also included Travis Banks, Isaiah Scott and then-champion Angel Garza.
