Curtis Axel & Ariya Daivari Make Cameo Returns On WWE Raw

Some familiar faces popped up on WWE Raw last night, those being former Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel and Ariya Daivari.

Both men appeared as backstage personnel during the pull-apart brawl between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

It was reported recently that Axel and Daivari had been brought in by WWE to try out as backstage producers, and they’ve been working on putting matches together alongside full-time producers.

The other producers that appeared in the segment were Ariya’s brother Shawn Daivari, Shane Helms (The Hurricane), Adam Pearce and Petey Williams.

Axel was originally released by WWE on April 30, 2020 having been with the company since 2007 if you include developmental, while Ariya Daivari was released on June 25, 2021 having been there since 2016.
