Dakota Kai To Replace Ember Moon Against Sarray On NXT

There has been a last minute change to an advertised match for tonight’s (August 10) episode of NXT.

WWE announced on their Twitter account that Ember Moon is not medically cleared to compete, and will be unable to face Sarray in their advertised match.

WWE instead announced that Dakota Kai will step in Ember’s place to face Sarray to open tonight’s show.

Ember Moon responded to the announcement on her Twitter account, where she said:

This has been an extremely rough month, I am angry and gutted! I was really looking forward to this match and getting back on track but just got another pothole in the road. I’m sorry!

There is currently no timeframe on Ember Moon’s return, but we wish her a full and complete recovery from her injury.

Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez are set to collide for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover 36 on August 22. Dakota has been used recently in dark matches prior to Raw and SmackDown, and had a match taped for this week’s WWE Main Event.
