WWE has confirmed another championship match that will take place at the upcoming Extreme Rules event.
On last week’s (August 30) episode of Raw, Damian Priest retained his United States Championship, defeating Sheamus and Drew McIntyre in a Triple Threat match.
On tonight’s show, Sheamus defeated McIntyre in a Number One Contender’s match, earning him his rematch with Damian Priest at Extreme Rules.
WWE Extreme Rules streams live on September 26 on WWE Network and Peacock in the United States.
