AEW
It was recently reported that AEW held a talent meeting ahead of the July 8 episode of AEW Collision.
When the report emerged, no details on the meeting were known, but we now have more details on the meeting.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the meeting was reportedly not known about by the talent not at the arena, or those typically found on Dynamite more than Collision, and we now know why that was.
A large part of the meeting was said to have been about how Collision has differentiated itself from Dynamite since it’s debut, even to the point where many of Dynamite’s detractors have taken a liking to Collision.
The meeting was said to have been led by CM Punk, with several topics being brought up about how Collision could separate itself from what we see on Wednesdays with Dynamite, which included the finishes for some of the matches.
The talent went over what was and was not good for Collision, such as finishes, shenanigans and more.
Other subjects addressed were the promoting of AEW related projects, shows and more, especially the Fight Forever video game.
The recent safety guideline changes were also covered during the meeting.
