A pair of top WWE stars are set to open the July 25 edition of WWE NXT.
On the July 18 episode of NXT, Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to win the North American Championship.
This title win led to Mysterio defeating Butch to retain the gold on the July 21 edition of WWE NXT in his first successful defense.
On July 24, the WWE NXT Twitter account announced that “Dirty” Dom and WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley will open this Tuesday’s show.
The pair will have a lot to discuss with Ripley being directly involved in Dominik Mysterio winning the title last week.
There is also the lingering issue of the previously scheduled Wes Lee vs. Mustafa Ali North American Championship bout at this Sunday’s Great American Bash premium live event.
With so much to discuss and determine heading into the big event this weekend, this will be a must watch edition of the Tuesday night brand.
