Ethan Page Opens Up About Scorpio Sky AEW Team

AEW wrestler Ethan Page has discussed his time in the promotion, sharing his honest opinion of his current tag team partner, Scorpio Sky.

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky first teamed together in March on AEW Dark: Elevation. Since then, the duo have rose through the AEW ranks, even facing Sting and Darby Allin at Double or Nothing.

Page has recently revealed that AEW President Tony Khan is responsible for the team’s success. Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Page explained that he and Sky have became best friends since they formed an onscreen alliance.

Praising Khan’s mind, Page said:

“I haven’t been here long enough to comprehend Tony’s mind, but he has a way of pairing people together. To be completely honest, if someone said, ‘Hey, you and Scorpio Sky are gonna be a team’, I would have been like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting’, and now it’s my favorite thing! I can’t even explain the chemistry we have. It works!

“And that was all Tony and that was presented to us and both of us were like, ‘Yeah, we talk to each other, but we’re not like friends’, and now (we’re) best, best friends. Best chemistry. It’s like the perfect match, so all credit Tony Khan for that. And like, look at the Acclaimed. Like, they’re incredible as well. The love and care that goes into tag team wrestling and then Tony’s a genius I guess.

“You know what, there’s a natural bromance on camera and off camera. And it just like, it just works. Even our fashion complements each other, the way we speak on camera complements each other, the way we wrestle complements each other. We’re so different, but so similar. You can tell how happy I am just talking about it. Like, it just works. I can’t explain it. It’s just one of those magical pairings and I can’t wait to see what more we do with the team.”

Page and Sky most recently teamed to face Darby Allin in a handicap match. Allin will be a part of the upcoming Jackass 4 film, set for an October release. Originally set for Road Rager, Page and Allin’s Coffin match has been postponed, seemingly for Fyter Fest.
