First Ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Crowned AEW

The first ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions have now been crowned during tonight’s December 10 edition of Dynamite.

Opening tonight’s Winter Is Coming special edition of Dynamite was the tournament final to determine the first ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions as the Babes of Wrath faced the Timeless Love Bombs.

The Babes of Wrath – the team of Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron – had defeated Mercedes Mone & Athena and the Sisters of Sin to get to the final.

Meanwhile, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa – collectively known as the Timeless Love Bombs – had picked up wins against Alex Windsor & Riho and Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir.

In tonight’s tournament final. it was the Babes of Wrath who scored the win to become the first ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.

Nightingale scored the pinfall over Shirakawa after her powerbomb finisher.

After the match, Cameron and Nightingale gave an emotional interview where Cameron recalled first forming their bond in her second match.

Storm and Shirakawa then showed their respects to the champions in the ring as well.
