The first match for the WWE Payback 2023 event on September 2 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been announced.
Despite not being announced on Raw, a match that was set up on the show has now been advertised for Payback.
In what fans were expecting to be the final match of the feud, Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus went to a double countout.
It was then announced that they’d be having a steel cage match, but no date was confirmed.
On this week’s episode of Main Event though, the Lynch vs Stratus cage match was advertised for Payback.
WWE has not announced the match on social media nor on its website as of yet.
