Former AEW star Anthony Henry has casted doubt on his in-ring future following his “devastating” release from the company.
On April 1, AEW announced its first slate of talent cuts, which included The Workhorsemen’s Anthony Henry.
Henry has worked with AEW since 2021 after he was released from his WWE contract. He has made appearances on both AEW and ROH programming since then.
Anthony Henry took to social media to express his gratitude to the fans who showed their support to him following his release from the promotion. He wrote:
The amount of support I am receiving during this very difficult time is amazing, and I appreciate all of it. I don’t know what is next for me.
I don’t know if wrestling is something I still want to pursue. I am devastated.
Regardless, I am always a #workhorsemen
Stu Grayson, The Boys, Jose The Assistant and Slim J were also among the names released from All Elite Wrestling.
Henry last wrestled for AEW/ROH on the March 14 episode of ROH TV on Honor Club.
WrestleTalk would like to wish the best to Anthony Henry following his release from AEW.
