In a vignette on tonight’s WWE NXT, a debut was announced for next week after an intriguing vignette was shown.
Set for a debut next week, a former NJPW star who will be making the jump to WWE and using a new name.
Announced on tonight’s WWE NXT, Eddy Thorpe will be making his debut on next week’s show.
Wrestling fans may recall him best from New Japan Pro Wrestling where he wrestled under his actual name, Karl Fredericks.
Fredericks was with NJPW since 2018 however announced in late 2022 that he would not be renewing with the company.
Eddy Thorpe for his part has already made his NXT Level Up debut, featuring in several matches thus far.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, Roxanne Perez’s continued absence from the brand was addressed and more women are set to qualify for the ladder match at Stand & Deliver which will see Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship on the line.
Also a new WWE signing had his in-ring debut announced and a major stipulation was added to a big grudge match set for NXT Stand & Deliver!
