A former WWE star made a rare appearance and debut for IMPACT Wrestling.
On tonight’s January 19 edition of IMPACT on AXS TV, the show kicked off with new IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James addressing the fans following her emotional win at Hard To Kill.
James was quickly interrupted by Bully Ray who was in a bad mood following his loss to IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander at the pay-per-view.
After a heated back and forth between Bully and Mickie, Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans came down to confront Mickie with Steelz bringing up the fact that James has never defeated her. This led to Steelz, Evans and Bully Ray attacking James until Frankie Kazarian and Jordynne Grace making the save.
New Director of Authority Santino Marella came down and was having trouble figuring how to settle the situation when former WCW and WWE star Ernest “The Cat” Miller made his surprising debut.
After noting his history as an authority figure in World Championship Wrestling, Miller assisted Marella in making a six person tag team opener between the parties involved.
Mickie James, Jordynne Grace and Frankie Kazarian went on to score the win over Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans and Bully Ray following Mickie pinning Tasha.
Ernest Miller got his start in the business in the late 90’s in WCW and would later spend three years with WWE in the early 2000s.
