Former WWE Champion Makes AEW Debut On Dynamite 200 AEW

Making a surprise appearance on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite 200 (August 2), a former WWE champion and all around legend.

For Dynamite 200, Jack Perry may have thought he was going to tangle with Jerry Lynn in the ring but it ended up being someone entirely different.

Making a surprise appearance on Dynamite, another ECW legend in Rob Van Dam.

While RVD came out to the ring to a thunderous crowd response for his music and his catchphrase, there wasn’t any action with Jack Perry… at first.

As  Perry seemingly stomped away rather than mix it up with Rob Van Dam, he made a return to the ring with a chair in an attempt to sneak attack the legend.

However, RVD was still quicker, able to escape from danger as Jack Perry scampered away through the crowd, quite literally hiding behind a little girl on his way out.

Fightful reported earlier today that AEW had discussed a match between Perry and Van Dam to take place at either All In or All Out.

UPDATE – In a backstage interview later in the night, Van Dam actually challenged Perry to a match on next week’s Dynamite.
