Former WWE Star Impressed With The Rise Of Dominik Mysterio WWE

Former WWE star Chavo Guerrero says he is impressed with the rise of former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Since betraying his father Rey Mysterio and joining The Judgment Day, Dominik Mysterio has become one of the most hated and detestable heels in the business today.

Having won his first title in 2023, the new year will see even more improvements and growth for “Dirty Dom.”

During the world premiere of “The Iron Claw,” former WWE star Chavo Guerrero, who worked on the actors on wrestling for the film, did an analysis of “little details” with actor Jeremy Allan White.

When using both Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio as examples to how they make the moves mean something in their storytelling, Guerrero discussed the rise and growth of Dominik Mysterio. He said:

“He’s doing so great. He’s far above where he should be. You know, I said, he’s not supposed to be this good, but, you know, he had some trials growing up. “

“If you remember, when he first started, fans were didn’t really like them that much. They were kind of like, ‘Hey, this kid is not ready, I don’t know if he’s gonna live up to the Mysterio name.'”

“Well, we all felt that. Every second/third generation [wrestler] felt the same thing because you sometimes get the door open, but every second or third generation actor has felt the same way or any performer.”

Dominik Mysterio last wrestled in a loss to Dragon Lee for the NXT North American Championship at NXT Deadline.

It was recently reported that Mysterio signed a new multi-year deal with WWE earlier this month.

“Dirty Dom” recently discussed his goals for 2024 in a new interview, which you can read about here.
