Over the years, many former WWE stars have made their way over to All Elite Wrestling in the past, and there were reportedly some notable names present at last night’s (August 16) show.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), numerous non-AEW talents were backstage at last night’s show in Nashville, which included famous actor and infamous former WCW World Champion David Arquette.
On top of Arquette, two former WWE names were present at the show.
The first being CJ Perry (FKA Lana), who was at the show visiting with her husband, Miro, as Lana and Miro have a home in the Nashville area
CJ Perry has not wrestled a match or made any wrestling appearances outside of signings since she was released from WWE back in June 2021, with her one planned appearance being cancelled.
Another former WWE women’s star present was Summer Rae (Danielle Moinet), who has expressed some interest in the past about potentially making appearances for the company.
Summer Rae was a part of the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match, and she has had a couple of other matches outside of the company since her 2017 release.
While none of those names made an appearance on the show, horror icon Leatherface did, when he interfered in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett.
