Former WWE Stars’ Contract Status Revealed

A new report has revealed former WWE stars and former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans’ contract status.

At the end of 2023, Zack Gibson and James Drake of the Grizzled Young Veterans left WWE following the expiration of their contracts.

Since then, the duo has made a name for themselves across the independent scene and TNA.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that the Grizzled Young Vets are completely independent as of now.

However, Gibson and Drake didn’t rule out signing anywhere, whether it be TNA, AEW or even a possible return to WWE again in the future if the situation makes sense.

GYV were previously known as Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid of the Dyad in the Schism faction on the NXT brand prior to their WWE release.

The Grizzled Young Veterans will face ABC in Match #3 of the Best of 3 Series at this weekend’s TNA No Surrender 2024 event.
