Top WWE Star Shows No Interest In Title Unification Match With World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins WWE

A top WWE star has showed no interest in a potential title unification match with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

At WWE Night of Champions, Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. The new title has become the top prize on Monday Night Raw.

Prior to the title’s introduction, Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER was drafted to the Raw brand.

With his reign just eclipsing one year, he is mere months away from becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in WWE history.

Speaking with Steve Fall on Ten Count, GUNTHER revealed he has no interest in having a title unification bout with Seth Rollins. When asked if he would be interested in facing Rollins, he replied:

“If I’m still the Intercontinental Champion, which I’m planning to be, I do not think so actually.”

“The new World Heavyweight Championship just got introduced, so I think there is no interest by anyone to merge that again with another title, which [a match between the two] kind of automatically would do.”

“I think we’re in two different divisions right now when it comes to that, but down the line, everything is possible, I would say.”

Rollins is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions with an open challenge on the June 19 edition of WWE Raw, a bout against Bron Breakker on the June 20 WWE NXT and against Finn Balor at Money In The Bank on July 1.
