A top SmackDown star is planned for tonight’s WWE Raw from San Diego coming off the heels of Money In The Bank.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther is scheduled for tonight’s episode of Raw as of this morning.
The original plans called for him to be part of a “very patriotic” segment with R-Truth to celebrate Independence Day.
Gunther wasn’t featured at the Money In The Bank event, but is held in high regard by people of influence within WWE.
Nothing has been advertised or confirmed as of yet in regards to the IC Champion.
As previously noted, WWE is also reportedly planning on doing an “Independence Day Cookout” that will feature Otis on tonight’s show as well.
Also announced for tonight’s Raw is The Miz responding to Logan Paul and a tag team contest with The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs. Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
