Huge Title Change At WWE SummerSlam

In the main event of WWE SummerSlam, Braun Strowman defended his Universal Championship against The Fiend. The storyline didn’t really focus on the title at all, but The Fiend won the title and is The Universal Champion.

The story focused on The Fiend abducting Alexa Bliss and turning Braun Strowman into a Swamp Monster. However, the match was a falls count anywhere match.

The Fiend won in the ring. Braun Strowman got a knife out mid-match and cut the ring mat open.

Strowman removed the mat and exposed the wood underneath. The Fiend hit Sister Abigail on the exposed wood and won the championship.

However, he didn’t get to celebrate long at all. A figure in all black appeared from out of nowhere.

Roman Reigns speared The Fiend. He then speared Braun Strowman. He would go on to hit Strowman about 20 times with a chair.

After this, he got back in the ring and speared the Fiend one more time. He then grabbed the title and said they were nothing without him. He held up the Universal Title and said it was always his.

Looks like we know who’s next for The Fiend.
