A recent trademark filing has potentially revealed a new tag team name for the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics.
Following their WWE release, Jessica McKay (fka Billie Kay) and Cassie Lee (Peyton Royce) have filed to trademark “THE IINSPIRATION”.
Trademarks for the phrase were filed by JTLM Inc. (a company owned by McKay and her husband) and Lee for “entertainment services” and merchandise.
The following descriptions accompanied the filings:
G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts

G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes
The former Iconic Duo had previously filed to trademark their individual ring names. The duo have also recently trademarked “Off Her Chops“, the name of their podcast.
Both Lee and McKay were released by WWE in April. The former tag team champions have opened up about their departure, calling it a total shock.
