IMPACT Plan Sammy Guevara Turned Down Revealed

The IMPACT Wrestling storyline that Sammy Guevara reportedly turned down after leaving the Inner Circle last week has been revealed, courtesy of Dave Meltzer.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that the plan that Sammy Guevara turned down was eventually given to Black Taurus, who recently joined the Decay faction.

“I had heard from one person at Impact, I don’t know what the creative is that he turned down, but they said that the creative he turned down was something he should turned down. He didn’t like it and they decided to do it with Black Taurus instead and they did not use Sammy.”

For those that don’t know, reports emerged this weekend indicating that Sammy Guevara had landed himself in hot water with AEW after voicing his concerns over an IMPACT storyline that he was set to be involved with.

The reports that emerged noted that people within AEW were concerned that Sammy’s actions may have tarnished the relationship between AEW and IMPACT, although it doesn’t appear as if this has happened.
