Title Change During IMPACT Wrestling November 10 IMPACT

A new champion was crowned during the latest edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS on November 10.

The show opened with Brian Myers defending the Digital Media Championship against Joe Hendry.

In the eventful match-up, Matt Cardona tried to assist Brian Myers for the win.

Impact World Tag Team Champions, Heath and Rhino, were on hand to stop Cardona’s attempt.

Hendry managed to secure a clean victory by pinfall after landing a Standing Ovation on Myers.

The win marks Joe Hendry’s first title run at Impact Wrestling.

The defending champion, Brian Myers, won the title back on July 1 during Against All Odds in a Dot Combat match against Rich Swann.

Matt Cardona currently holds the record for the longest reign with the Digital Media championship at 127 days.

Joe Hendry first appeared on Impact in 2018 in what was a brief run. A vignette aired during the September 15, 2022 edition of IMPACT announcing Hendry’s return to the promotion.

An in-ring return soon followed on October 7 during Bound for Glory.

The Scot also signed to Ring of Honor in 2019 and appeared at Supercard of Honor XV after Tony Khan purchased the promotion, in a match-up with Dalton Castle.

Joe Hendry shared a post with his newly acquired title on social media.
