A new report has revealed former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill’s status for this Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2024.
In September 2023, WWE announced the signing of former TBS Champion Jade Cargill to a new multi-year deal with the promotion.
The company then hyped the signing on WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT as well as had Cargill make brief appearances on all their weekly shows and the WWE Fastlane PLE.
However, fans haven’t seen or heard much from Cargill since those brief appearances a few months back.
Per PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc.), Jade Cargill is expected to be at this Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble event from Tampa, Florida.
Cargill hasn’t been announced or confirmed to be in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, but many fans have assumed that is the match to debut the former AEW star.
It remains to be seen if and when the company plans to debut Jade Cargill – the report specifically said she’ll be “at” the show, which doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll actually appear on-screen – but WrestleTalk will provide further updates on her status when they become available.
