Jade Cargill’s WWE championship plans have potentially been revealed following her recent appearance on SmackDown.
After joining the SmackDown roster, Cargill aligned herself with Bianca Belair and Naomi, with the trio defeating Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40.
Cargill and Belair appeared together on Friday’s (April 12) SmackDown episode, defeating Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in tag-team action,
Belair and Cargill discussed their alliance in a WWE Digital Exclusive interview following SmackDown, during which the duo revealed that they have their sights set on the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The popular stars first noted:
Cargill: It’s just natural. It’s just easy, and you want to talk about a match that just had, let’s move to the next one. I know, I know, but it was just easy. I mean, peanut butter and jelly. We just go out there and kill it.
Belair: We represent the same thing. Power, grace, strength, beauty, that’s who we are. That’s what we’re all about. So we just naturally gel together, and we’re just getting started.
The duo were then asked about the possibility of them challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship together. They replied:
Belair: Well, since you asked, because he did ask, right? That sounds like a good idea. Right now, Damage CTRL has those Tag Team Titles, and I got a lot of history with them. We already added Jade to the Big Three at WrestleMania, took them down. So they still got those titles. I’ve never been a tag team champion.
Cargill: I wanna win some gold.
Belair: I’ve never had nobody at my side like Jade Cargill.
Cargill: I’ve never had nobody like Miss B over here.
Belair: I’m liking it. Future tag team champs?
Cargill: Future tag team champs.
Asuka and Kairi Sane have held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship since January 2024, when they defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for the gold.
Naomi had a busy SmackDown in the singles division, which you can read more about right here.
