WWE has issued an injury update on Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill following an attack on last night’s SmackDown show.
On last night’s November 22 episode of SmackDown, Jade Cargill was attacked during Bianca Belair’s Women’s United States Championship Tournament match against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport.
Jade was shown laid out on a car windshield on the tron during the match, causing Bianca Belair to flee the match to check on her partner, allowing Chelsea to score the pinfall over Davenport to advance.
Today, WWE has diagnosed Jade Cargill with a number of injuries following the attack, specifically Deep Lumbar Paraspinal Muscle Contusions, Bruised Kidney, Sprained MCL, Tibial Plateau Bone Bruise and Facial Lacerations.
There is ‘no timetable’ on her return following the attack according to WWE’s announcement.
The attack on the show led to Jade being replaced in both the United States Championship Tournament, as well as the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series next weekend.
