On this past Wednesday’s (July 7) episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho punched a fan who had jumped the barricade during his segment with MJF.
The fan took to Twitter, explaining that he jumped the barricade for “real wrestling fans”, tagging Jim Cornette and his podcast co-host Brian Last in the tweet.
Cornette responded to the fan, and he didn’t hold back his disgust with his actions, tweeting:
Got news for you dipshit, the ring is sacred ground for US, and even if you and a lot of others THINK you can kick the shit out of the Young Bucks, I would have turned you into a tennis racket popsicle, & you’re lucky someone there didn’t gut you like a fish. And you’re blocked.
Cornette also retweeted this tweet from Chris Jericho, who he famously doesn’t see eye-to-eye with nowadays:
Do you really think @TheJimCornette would condone this you f**kin loser? Jimmy would’ve shoved a tennis racket up your ass and smashed your car windows.
Jim Cornette is known to be very polarising due to his public criticisms of AEW, but everyone can admit that hopping a barricade at a wrestling show is a no go.
