Jim Cornette Has High Praise For Logan Paul Following WrestleMania 38

Jim Cornette Has High Praise For Logan Paul Following WrestleMania 38 WWE

Jim Cornette is a very hard man to impress when it comes to wrestling, but Logan Paul managed to do just that at WrestleMania 38.

During the latest episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru, Cornette reviewed both nights of WrestleMania, which of course included Logan Paul and The Miz taking on Dominik and Rey Mysterio.

Cornette began:

“Very shortly after the match started, I said, ‘This guy’s got the aptitude for this’. A nice powerslam, he did a blockbuster – he’s doing the moves, but also he’s not rushing. He’s got the facial expressions, and if you notice, a lot of the celebrities actually tried to sell s**t in a more realistic fashion than some of the wrestlers. This is the first time I’ve really watched a Miz match in a long time – I still don’t see anything, still don’t understand it, don’t get it. But Logan Paul, right now he could be the top half of the AEW roster, and he’s only had one f**king match.”

After the main review of the match, Cornette’s co-host Brian Last praised Logan’s brother Jake’s appearance on the pre-show and the personality he showed. Cornette then added:

“What they ought to do is get Logan and Jake and make them the heel tag team champions. That’ll draw you some money. I would be more than happy to watch Logan Paul beat up The Miz also.”

If the conclusion to the match was anything to go by, Logan Paul vs The Miz is indeed something we’ll be seeing at some point in the future.

In the past few days, Paul has talked about how much he enjoyed WrestleMania, even saying: “I didn’t realize how much wrestling and WrestleMania would affect my life. I love it. My whole family loves it. We all had so much fun”.

He also said he’s now debating his entire future and it sounds like he may be leaning towards doing a lot more work with WWE going forward as part of that future.
