AEW star Lance Archer has been appearing without his manager Jake Roberts during his recent appearances with the company, with him even temporarily being aligned with Dan Lambert.
AEW announcer Jim Ross spoke about Roberts on a recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast, where he said that the WWE Hall of Famer is having problems with his breathing, which is why he hasn’t been on AEW television.
He said:
“I just saw him here a few weeks ago and he’s still battling his breathing issues. He’s not in great health. That’s why you don’t see him as often on AEW television as he once was when he was fronting Lance Archer, but his health is not good and he’s taking the means to address it. He still has surgeries left. But he has breathing issues.”
