The next two matches on the John Cena WWE retirement tour have been confirmed at the start of tonight’s August 8 episode of SmackDown.

It’s been a busy week for Cena after he turned babyface last Friday, then lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.

Then, after the loss to Rhodes, Cena was attacked by the returning Brock Lesnar.

Tonight on SmackDown, Cena opened the show and spoke candidly about being nervous for the rest of his retirement tour, wondering if he’s going to be able to live up to expectations.

After he called out anyone who wanted a match to “come get some”, it was Logan Paul who joined him in the ring.

Paul challenged Cena to a match at the upcoming Clash In Paris PLE, but before Cena could accept, he was attacked from behind by McIntyre, with Paul joining in on the beatdown.

Paul and McIntyre just teamed up at SummerSlam to score a win against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll.

With Paul and McIntyre attacking John Cena two-on-one, Cody Rhodes came out to make the save as he and Cena managed to clear the ring.

Cena then accepted Paul’s challenge for Clash In Paris on August 31, but also set up another match.

Later tonight on WWE SmackDown, it will be a tag team match with Cena and Rhodes teaming up against Paul and McIntyre.
