John Cena To Face Theory In WWE Return Match Soon?

If you’re gonna try to guess who John Cena’s next WWE match will be against, United States Champion Theory would be a good bet.

In the latest chapter of this story, Theory has now responded to John Cena’s tweet directed towards him from earlier today.

This all started at WWE’s most recent house show this past weekend, where, after beating Finn Balor, Theory bragged in front of a child wearing a John Cena shirt, saying that he’s a better US Champion than Cena was.

Theory shared a clip of this on social media, and it got Cena’s attention, as the 16-time World Champion replied:

Everyone understands that you have far more talent, strength, and gifts than I ever had. Don’t apologize for that. Ever. An apology should come 20 years from now if you fail to provide the EFFORT needed to turn your potential into your legacy. I hope that day never comes.

Well, Theory has now responded to Cena’s tweet with one of his own, writing:

Thanks for always being a fan, @JohnCena. I’ve got an action figure of mine with your name on it! #HustleLoyaltyRespect

Theory has made it no secret whatsoever that John Cena was his hero when he was growing up, and it’s also no secret that WWE, Vince McMahon, Cena himself, and pretty much anyone who actually knows anything about wrestling, can see that Theory is a huge star in the making.

We don’t know when Cena’s schedule will allow for an in-ring return, but we do know that he’ll be up for it when he’s able to, and a match with Theory would seem to be the logical way to go, especially after this latest exchange.
