Did you know John Cena has had a vasectomy?

Well you do now, and so do all the viewers of Total Bellas.

On this week’s episode of the reality show, Cena and his off-on again fiancee Nikki Bella implied that he’d had the snip.

And what’s more, he’s willing to have it reversed!

Big Match John said he’d make this ultimate sacrifice while at a crunch meeting with Nikki in an effort to resolve their differences and get back together – which aired on Season 3 Episode 5 of Total Bellas on E! on Sunday night.

John has in the past been reluctant to have kids and this drove a wedge between him and his lady love, who is desperate to be a mom.

But over dinner, John told Nikki: “I can’t have you out of my life…ever. I want to marry you. Relationship and marriage especially is about sacrifice. I will make that sacrifice for you, I will give you a child.”

Nikki said: “But…you have the…”

“Yeah, I know…I physically can’t have kids,” said John.

“So I’m also telling you that I’m willing to have surgery and then still go through with being a dad.”

This news delighted Nikki and the scene ended with a kiss and the big reconciliation.

The conversation had earlier been uneasy as Nikki told John that she would not be happy if she couldn’t one day have children.

“It’s just wanting to be a mom and knowing you would not be a dad…I’ve just come to a realisation that I’m not OK with it,” said the Bella Twin.

John had previously said he didn’t want children with the former Divas Champion.

In an interview last summer HERE (credit HollywoodLife), John told US Weekly: “I can barely raise myself, so I just don’t know how good a dad I’ll be.

“I guess that’s my biggest fear. I know it’s a natural human progression to want to have kids, but right now, I’m just focused on what’s in front of me.”

Now the wedding, which was called off after the couple split in May just over a year after Cena’s very public in-ring proposal at WrestleMania 33, appears to be back on.

A secret ceremony may be on the cards, according to Life and Style Magazine HERE.

“They’re telling friends that they’re ready to commit again,” an insider told Life & Style.

“Only this time they say they’re eloping (and they’re keeping the location hush-hush!)

“With John and Nikki, you never know what you’re going to get.”

However, John said on Total Bellas that he didn’t want to elope.

And with Cena set to be out of the country for months filming new movie The Janson Detective with The Rock, that will mean more time apart from Nikki when their hectic schedule was blamed for the split in the first place.

So who knows what the future holds for wrestling’s favourite couple?

Of course there remain many sceptics who believe the entire break-up was for publicity to drive up ratings for Total Bellas.

Well, viewership for the Season 3 premiere was down 163,000 from last season’s opener (credit Showbuzz Daily).

So it will be interesting to see if the vasectomy bombshell leads to any kind of ratings spurt.
