Johnny Gargano Competes In First Match In 9 Months On WWE Raw

Johnny Gargano shocked the WWE fans when he made his long-awaited return to WWE back on the August 22 episode of Raw in Toronto, laying out Austin Theory with a Superkick.

Gargano announced on last week’s show that he would be making his in-ring debut on tonight’s episode of Raw in Portland, when he took on Chad Gable.

For those of you worried about potential ring rust on Johnny Wrestling, there was nothing to worry about, as it turns out that wrestling is like riding a bike to a man named Johnny Wrestling, as he and Chad Gable put on a wrestling clinic.

Gargano ended up victorious in his Raw debut, pinning Gable with the One Final Beat DDT.

This was Gargano’s first WWE match, and wrestling match in general, since the NXT War Games match back on December 5, 2021.
