Jon Moxley & Other Former WWE Champions Set For Event In Qatar

Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, and fellow former WWE World Champions Kevin Nash, The Great Khali, Mark Henry, Alberto Del Rio and Rob Van Dam have all been announced for an event in Qatar in about ten months time.

The wrestlers will all be at the Qatar Pro Wrestling show named, The Super Slam III, which is currently set to take place on October 23, 2021. However, those plans could always changed with the pandemic.

Moxley, Nash, Henry, Del Rio and Rob Van Dam won’t be the only former WWE stars at the show, as Rich Swann, PJ Black, Chris Masters, Carlito, Matt Sydal, Primo, Epico and EC3 are also going to be in attendance.

Moxley also isn’t the only AEW star who will be travelling over to Qatar in October next year for the show, as Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara, Brian Cage, Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero M and Luchasaurus have also been advertised for the event.

The following matches have yet to be announced, with several of the big names mentioned yet to have bouts confirmed for the show in the Middle East next year:

• Apolos vs Carlito & Chris Masters vs Jody Fleisch & Jonny Storm
• Brian Cage vs Michael Elgin
• White Eagle vs Matt Cross vs Matt Sydal
• Caprice Coleman vs PJ Black vs Mil Muertes vs Tristan Archer vs Rich Swann vs Dos Caras – Ladder Match
• Tito Hatem vs Rage vs Classy Ali
