Kairi Sane has announced her final match for STARDOM.
It was previously reported that Kairi Sane is set to return to WWE following her exit from the company in December 2021.
While the initial report stated that her return could be ‘imminent’, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer stated that Kairi has two more dates scheduled in Japan to fulfil.
Sane has been announced for the GLEAT promotion on September 20 at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan. However, she will be making her farewell from STARDOM just a few weeks after.
Appearing at today’s STARDOM Dream Tag Festival, KAIRI announced that she will team with Nanae Takahashi and IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani to face FWC (Hazuki & Koguma) and Saya Iida at the upcoming STARDOM show on October 9.
This will mark KAIRI’s final match with STARDOM before she goes on hiatus and her reported return to WWE. At a press conference on August 7, KAIRI said she would be putting activities on hiatus at the end of September
Kairi Sane most recently competed on the September 8 AJPW Giant Series event where she teamed with Saori Anou to defeat Sareee & Unagi Sayaka.
