With WWE Survivor Series WarGames fast approaching, many have speculated as to who the fifth man could be to take on The Bloodline.
One name that seemingly may be ruled out is Kevin Owens.
Reports materialized on Twitter that Owens sustained an injury at the WWE Sunday Night Stunner house show in Madison, Wisconsin last night (November 13).
According to a fan in attendance, Owens “planted his right knee and seems to be hurt”, noting:
“Just came from a live event in #WWEMadison, Kevin Owens planted his right knee and seems to have hurt it. Had to be helped out post-match by ref, match wrapped up quick. Might be legit, might not. Still sad. #KevinOwens #WWE #WWERaw”
Another fan noted that Owens was “limping out after ref help”:
“Hoping Kevin Owens is ok after limping out with ref help at #WWEMadison tonight. Didn’t see a leg spot that would cause it so who knows?”
The match saw Kevin Owens defeat Austin Theory.
Theory had recently been the subject of a rather contentious Money in the Bank cash-in.
WrestleTalk wishes Kevin Owens a safe and healthy recovery.
