Killian Dain (formerly Big Damo) has taken to social media to confirm that he has now been released by WWE.
Dain posted the following statement onto Twitter this afternoon, saying he got the call from WWE to say that he’d been released while he was doing extra training work at the WWE Performance Center.

In his statement, the former NXT star thanked Robbie Brookside, Fit Finlay, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and many others.
Killian Dain joined WWE in late 2016, pretty much immediately debuting on the NXT brand as part of SAnitY. He was still part of the group when they were called up to the main roster in 2018.
Killian Dain then returned to NXT the following year, where he immediately entered a feud with Matt Riddle. Most recently, Dain was seen tagging with Drake Maverick on the black and gold brand.
