After Shawn Michaels made comments regarding NXT expanding worldwide, Konnan has weighed in from his perspective.

When discussing the possibility of an NXT Mexico including Shawn Michaels’ comments on future iterations of the NXT brand moving forward worldwide, Konnan had nothing but positive things to say.

When Konnan was asked on his K100 mailbag show about WWE expanding into Lucha Libre style of wrestling, he was supportive of the idea.

Noting that it made good business sense, he also mentioned a continued emerging Latino market could unite behind a themed show, celebrating culture and Lucha Libre.

While NXT UK was disbanded and with some talent integrated into NXT programming, an announcement was made regarding the future of NXT World has not yet clarified next steps.
