Kris Statlander Says She Misses Working With Orange Cassidy & Best Friends AEW

Kris Statlander says she misses working with Orange Cassidy and Best Friends.

Prior to suffering an injury that kept her out of action for nine months, Kris Statlander could regularly been seen on AEW TV alongside Orange Cassidy and Best Friends.

The unit had become very popular and usually could be seen attached at the hips even off of AEW programming.

In a new interview with Alicia Atout, Statlander was asked about working with Best Friends and Orange Cassidy. She answered:

“It’s honestly so much fun. I wish that I could have them out there with me for my matches like they used to do, but they’re all very busy most of the time, so I understand why they can’t do it.”

“It’s just always so much more fun having them around and getting to do things as a group together.”

“Sometimes when you’re by yourself, you don’t really have anyone to play off of, and you can be a little awkward, especially me, I’m always very awkward trying to figure things out by myself.”

“When I have them around, I just feel so much more comfortable, and they are my best friends.”

“We always try and do as many like group outings and stuff together. We are an actual, like, traveling friendship team together. So it’s very nice to have that.”

Kris Statlander has become a staple of AEW Collision as the AEW TBS Champion, while Orange Cassidy and Best Friends are regularly seen on AEW Dynamite. Cassidy, Trent and Chuckie T will take part in the Stadium Stampede Match at AEW All In this Sunday, August 27.
